About The Position

We are a leading dermatology company seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our team temporarily. Our fast-paced medical office environment is one of the largest dermatology practices in the country, with plans for continued growth.

Requirements

  • Possess strong hardware and software knowledge.
  • Be proficient in Windows operating systems (Windows 10, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Exchange/Outlook.
  • Have experience diagnosing PC hardware problems.
  • Be able to perform basic network functions.
  • Conduct computer remedial and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of customer calls and resolutions.
  • Stay current with technical knowledge of relevant products and support policies.
  • All applicants must have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and self-service requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, effectively communicating with end-users to understand and solve equipment problems.
  • Set up, configure, and test computer equipment and peripherals.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer issues, tracking each case through to resolution.
  • Assist in software and hardware updates.
  • Perform PC Moves/Adds/Changes as needed.
