About The Position
This position follows a 12‑hour swing shift schedule, rotating between day and night shifts. Helix Plant Supervisor Helix Plant Technical Advisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Helix Plant on all shifts. They will provide technical support of the Helix Plant, Training, and validation of operating procedures. Additionally, will be involved in any changes to the plant, hazard reviews, and Root Cause Analysis for incident investigations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated ability to train operators, write and validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Background in mechanical assembly/disassembly using OEM spares and understanding vendor requirements
- Strong understanding of equipment types and functions within a manufacturing plant
- Effective communication skills
- High discipline in mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance structure
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to read and interpret trends, equipment tags, and P&IDs
Nice To Haves
- Experience in highly automated manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with robotics and material handling systems such as conveyors and packaging equipment
- Prior experience working in a highly automated manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Helix Plant on all shifts
- Provide technical support of the Helix Plant
- Training and validation of operating procedures
- Involved in any changes to the plant, hazard reviews, and Root Cause Analysis for incident investigations
- Supporting maintenance operations, including scheduling Preventive Maintenance (PMs) and managing Work Requests
- Enforce SOPs and PPE guidelines consistently
- Data collection and reporting for daily operations
- Performing small-scale RCAs and supporting hazard reviews
- Write OSHA-compliant SOPs and develop validation procedures
- Identify and escalate potential issues
- Read and interpret trends, equipment tags, and P&IDs
- Mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance structure
- Provide off-site technical support when required
- Assist engineering teams on large-scale projects
