As the Heirloom Shop Coordinator, this full-time role in the Carrolton Retail Shop involves aiding in the daily operation of the resale shop. This includes ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers, volunteers, and staff, providing excellent customer service, building brand awareness, and educating customers about Ohio’s Hospice services. The coordinator is also responsible for creating monthly staff schedules, making bank deposits, ordering supplies, and determining monthly sales. The role requires uplifting team members, developing positive consumer relationships, maximizing daily sales, and increasing sales transactions. The coordinator must speak positively about Ohio’s Hospice to raise mission awareness and encourage repeat sales and donations, consistently operating with the highest level of professionalism to uphold store standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ business experience; preferably in a retail setting as a store clerk or store supervisor
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of initiative/self-starter
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently operate cash registers while following cash handling procedures
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at hand
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
  • State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
