SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES It is the responsibility of the Junior Hedging Salesperson to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, selling structured derivative products to community banks and SouthState Bank customers. The position may require extensive travel in the covered states. Candidates should also have experience in credit and documentation review, commercial and real estate lending, and marketing and sales. This role will require thorough and accurate legal documentation review, understanding of financial statements and spreadsheets, preparing marketing material, assessing proper loan structures, identifying exceptions to policy, and interaction with commercial lenders and borrowers.
