About The Position

Join our team as a Steward Heavy Cleaner and play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our food and beverage operations! In this hands-on position, you will ensure that dishes, flatware, and stainless steel hoods shine and sparkle to meet health regulations. Your day-to-day will include working with cleaning chemicals, preparing and collecting soiled tableware and pots, and efficiently managing the drainage and filling of washing tanks.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent or one year of work experience
• One year of prior relevant experience preferred
• Be able to work a varied shift to include weekends, holidays, and evenings

Responsibilities

• Work with chemicals
• Prepare and collect tableware and soiled pots for washing and re-racking
• Drain and fill tanks
• Responsible for removal of garbage
• Mop and sweep floor, operate buffer and vacuum machines, use ladders (8 feet and 10 feet)
• Clean out dish machine and de-liming process
• Maintain elevators, ceilings, hoods, ac grills, light covers etc. up to Health Regulation Standards
