About The Position

The Heavy Equipment & Truck Detailer will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and overall presentation of our fleet — including triaxle dump trucks, lowboys, and yellow iron equipment.
The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have experience with cleaning procedures for large equipment, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Experience with aluminum polishing is a major plus and will be considered a valued bonus skill.

Requirements

• Must have prior experience detailing or washing heavy trucks and equipment
• Familiarity with different cleaning and tools (foamers, degreasers, pressure washers)
• Experience with aluminum polishing – required
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and pride in finished work
• Ability to follow direction and work with minimal supervision
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment and climb on machinery safely

Nice To Haves

• CDL or experience operating equipment for repositioning on yard a plus
• Experience with light maintenance or minor touch-up repairs a plus

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail the exterior and interior of trucks and heavy equipment
• Use Pressure washers, degreasers, and cleaning chemicals effectively
• Remove buildup of dirt, oil, grease, concrete, or asphalt from machinery
• Apply protective waxes or coatings where applicable
• Maintain clean work areas and organize detailing supplies
• Perform basic inspections of leaks or damage during cleaning
• Coordinate with shop and fleet managers to prioritize detailing tasks
• Assist with general upkeep and presentation of equipment on the yard
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Keep track of products used and assist in supply restock
