Vermeer All Roads in Roanoke is growing and hiring a Heavy Equipment Technician to diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer and related construction equipment. If you're mechanically inclined, hands-on, and ready to build a career with a supportive team, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic, electrical, and hydrostatic diagnostic capability
• Proficiency with repair documentation (CDK experience preferred)
• Welding ability and safe work practices
• Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Branch Service Manager
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions; hydraulic, electrical, and hydrostatic experience required
• Recognize and recommend appropriate repairs to the Service Manager
• Perform effective welding as needed
• Create accurate repair estimates within work orders
• Maintain detailed repair records in CDK Global
• Communicate with OEM/factory for technical assistance
• Perform other duties as assigned
