About The Position

Heavy Equipment Operator 1 or 2 Location: East Boulder Mine - McLeod, MT Schedule: Rotating - 5x4x4x5 Day Shift: 7:00am - 6:30pm Night Shift: 7:00pm - 6:30am Job Responsibilities and Duties: Operate loaders, dozers, haul trucks, compactor, and blade to assist with material handling on the surface, road maintenance, and construction of the tailings storage facility. Conduct water systems checks and assist with systems work as needed. Site trash handling duties as required. Conduct Concentrator and Surface Facilities inspections during mill down cycles. Perform other duties as needed upon request of the supervisor. Qualifications and Skills: Required: Minimum one (1) year heavy equipment operating experience (to include front-end loader, haul truck, water truck, forklift) and skills necessary to meet applicable task proficiency matrix. Other heavy mining equipment operating experience (dozer, motor grader, compactor). Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in written forms. Proven safe working record. Understanding of environmental regulations. Understanding of safety and health standards and policies. Preferred: Independent work habits. HDPE piping experience. Mechanical aptitude.
