Position: Heavy Equipment Mechanic We are seeking for an experienced candidate to join our team in Clinchfield (GA - USA) Responsibilities Performs maintenance and repair work of machinery in the project according to the work planning defined. Perform maintenance and adjustments of machinery according to the guidelines established by the manufacturer and maintenance company procedures. Daily Machine inspections. Follow up of detected anomalies. Diagnosis of equipment failures. Repair of breakdowns following established procedures. Change of components following established procedures. Ensure that preventive maintenance reports are properly completed. Ensure good order and cleanliness of the workplace. Look after and keep the assigned tool in perfect condition. Attend meetings prior to start the work shift. Complete the daily work order. Encourage compliance of the company's Safety Policies and Standards. Encourage compliance of the Environmental Policies of the company. Qualifications Certificate or Diploma in Heavy Equipment Technology / Diesel Technology. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with heavy mining equipment. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) training or certifications (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, EPIROC, Sandvik, Liebherr, etc.). Familiarity with open-pit operations and large fleet management systems. Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Experience working in remote project sites or international assignments. Pre-Employment Requirements Reference checks will be conducted. Alcohol and drug testing applies as per company policy.
