About The Position

Cleveland Brothers Caterpillar is seeking highly skilled Diesel Technicians for
Field positions working on Large Mining and construction equipment as well
as other supporting equipment.

The focus of this position will be to provide mechanical repairs on a mine site
in the Hazelton PA area. This will be a second shift position Monday through
Friday from 4:00PM to 2:00AM.

Cleveland Brothers will provide you the necessary training and specialty tools
to be successful as a technician working for the largest equipment company in
Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Previous experience working on heavy equipment
• Knowledge of diesel engines
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Knowledge of electronics
• Intermediate computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Overall stamina
• Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing
• Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouching
• Listening and speaking
• Must have good motor coordination skills
• Coordination of eyes, hands, and feet
• Verbal intelligence and numerical intelligence
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Work overtime as needed
• Relevant working experience
• Good human relations skills and abilities as well as the personality to successfully

Responsibilities

• Independently and successfully diagnose and repair equipment
• Overhaul engines and other major components
• Operate and maintain all types of Mining and construction equipment
• Communicate, and problem solve with customers
