About The Position
Heavy Equipment Tech/ Mechanic Manassas, VA | Vermeer All Roads Vermeer All Roads in Manassas is hiring an Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to assist our customers and diagnose, repair, and maintain Vermeer construction equipment. If you want hands-on work with autonomy, variety, and clear growth paths, this is for you. Compensation & Schedule $25-$40/hour (based on experience) Production bonuses available Full-time, no nights or weekends Shop hours: Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (flexible for field calls) Benefits Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified candidates Medical, dental, vision, disability, life & supplemental insurance (eligible after 30 days) 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off & company-paid holidays Tuition reimbursement program Employee referral bonus program Comprehensive paid training & certifications Career advancement opportunities — we promote from within Responsibilities Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment (shop and field) as directed by the Manager Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulic, electrical, and hydrostatic systems Perform welding/fabrication as needed Recommend/document repairs and prepare accurate cost estimates Maintain detailed and accurate service records Stay current on industry trends and technical advancements Communicate with OEM/factory for technical support Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED Hands-on experience with hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and hydrostatic systems Welding experience preferred Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills Ability to travel locally for field service calls as needed Work Authorization All Roads Company does not provide H-1B sponsorship. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and hydrostatic systems
- Welding experience preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel locally for field service calls as needed
