About The Position

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operators to join our team! We’re looking for candidates with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and effective problem-solving abilities. No Slip Seating – Keep Your Assigned Truck! All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned. Essential Functions Operate Heavy Tow Trucks, Rollbacks, and Service Trucks efficiently and safely Respond to Florida Traffic Incident Management Program calls (RISC) Work safely at accident scenes, often in traffic and all-weather conditions Cooperate closely with law enforcement and other first responders Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers Operate GPS mapping devices Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Promote opportunities within the company and through referrals. Commissioned Pay Graduated commission pay scale starting at 25% - Our drivers average $1,800 - $2,000 weekly. This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salary-paid position. Requirements

  • Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Proven heavy-duty towing experience required
  • Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
  • Clean driving record
  • Able to pass background check and drug test
  • All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned
