The Manufacturing Technician will be called upon to lead and train operations assembly team in the proper use of any of these systems during build process and final inspections. The Service Technician must develop effective communications and must have a positive working relationship with all team members. YOUR IMPACT Manufacturing Technicians are required to have mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system experience and they must be able to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and layouts. Advanced troubleshooting skills are required. The ability to communicate well with all team members and customers is also required. Good computer skills are preferable. Build new products Provide design and process feedback during projects to maximize product design and manufacturing processes. Assist in development of long-term manufacturing build processes on new product launches. Provide training and demonstration to manufacturing. Trouble shoot (diagnose and repair) products. Perform first time installation of detail parts onto vehicle. Clean all parts prior to and after installation. Conduct functional testing of all systems assembled. Modify bodywork layout to facilitate system installations. Ability to work independently to follow a build schedule. Safety conscious awareness of risks involved in working on high voltage, high pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts and forklifts to aid in assembly. Conduct coolant line pressure testing and diagnose leaking joints. Diagnose and rework high voltage systems.
