About The Position

Heavy Diesel/Field mechanic is needed. Heimes Corporation is seeking qualified personnel to diagnose, repair, and provide maintenance on equipment/vehicles. Heimes Corporation is a construction company based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Heimes Corp. provides a wide range of services including but not limited to: Excavating, Underground Utilities, Recycled Concrete, Plumbing, Directional Drilling, Underground Storage Tanks, Wrecking, Transportation, and Hazardous Materials Cleanup/Hauling (ESI). Applicant must have experience with all types of construction equipment: CASE, CAT, John Deere, Komatsu. CDL class A with hazmat & tanker is preferred. Welding talent is a plus. Ability to work on Ford gas and diesel pickups through Class 8 trucks is also beneficial. Cummins, CAT, and Detroit engines. Working with tractors, excavators, compactors, backhoes, wheel loaders, scrapers, rock crushers, directional drill machines and everything in between! Keep accurate and legible daily records. Pass pre-employment drug screen. Must be 19 years of age or older and posses a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Applicant must have his own tools to use on the job. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and abide by DOT regulations. Zero tolerance policy for cell phone use while behind the wheel (including hands free devices). We utilize the E-Verify system for employment eligibility. For construction safety reasons applicant must speak and understand the English language. Pay varies depending on previous experience. Requirements
