About The Position
Syndeo is hiring for a 3rd shift lab technician for a metal processing plant in Wichita, KS. In this position you will be performing hardness testing and support metallurgical lab processes. Shift: Monday – Friday 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Pay: $16-$18/Hour based on skills, experience & work ethic
Requirements

- Willing to learn hands‑on lab processes
Nice To Haves
- Hardness testing
- Microstructure or case depth analysis
- Lab saw operation
- Sample mounting or polishing
Responsibilities
- Perform manual hardness testing using lab equipment
- Prepare and inspect samples for accurate readings
- Document measurements and maintain clean work areas
- Learn micro‑hardness testing, polishing, and saw operation over time
- Handle cold-mount chemicals safely (non‑burning and low‑risk)
