About The Position

A Day in the Life: Determine client eligibility for HEAT utility and water assistance in compliance with Federal, State, and UCA policies Provide trauma-informed, client-centered support, educating clients on budgeting and energy-saving strategies Manage and monitor caseloads to ensure timely and accurate service delivery Refer clients to appropriate internal and community resources Assist with other program functions such as application editing, mentoring, or training as needed Use strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality and accountability Communicate effectively with clients and community partners from diverse backgrounds, representing the agency professionally Utilize proficiency in internet-based systems and standard computer applications to complete work efficiently Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment Work independently and collaboratively, remaining open to feedback and committed to team success

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • MS Office Experience
  • This position regularly travels along the Wasatch Front, and the employee will be required to provide reliable transportation.
  • Requires mobility and physical dexterity
  • Ability to read, focus, organize, recall, and retain information
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods
  • Occasional bending and lifting of up to 25 pounds
  • Regular use of office equipment
  • Position is held in-office, typically in a cubicle or private office within a UCA program site or a partnering agency building
  • Exposure to normal office noise and foot traffic is expected

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Arabic preferred)

Responsibilities
