About The Position

MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute is a physician led institute with multi-specialty partnership with Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular and cardiovascular service lines. Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class health care organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure service as well as advanced imaging with cutting edge technologies. This is a 100% outpatient position with no call. FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Weekdays, 4x10s MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute is seeking a Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner to join our busy, well established and expanding practice. This position requires the ability to establish goals of care, collaborate with many health care team professionals, (e.g. Social work, Cardiac rehab staff, Palliative care team) and ability to manage decompensated heart failure (or volume overload) in the outpatient clinic setting and refer to the ED when necessary. Requirements

  • Masters of Science in Nursing Post Bachelor’s Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Practitioner Exam through an accredited organization
  • Licensed in the state of WA as an ARNP by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
  • ARNP Experience in a Heart Failure Program or two (2) years of experience in a cardiovascular setting
