Requirements
- A college degree as a Physician’s Assistant from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school
- Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position.
Nice To Haves
- Two to five years of experience with a medical practice setting where diagnosis, treatment and patient education were the focus of the role
- Heart Failure experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs physical, psycho-social assessment
- Establishes medical diagnosis
- Orders and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Manages follow up care
- Performing physical examinations
- Developing treatment plans
- Ordering and interpreting lab tests and results
- Providing preventative healthcare and counseling
