As a Healthcare Tech / Nurse Aide in our new, intimate, team-centered environment, you’ll be an essential member of a collaborative team—wearing many hats, expanding your skills, and helping shape workflows from the ground up. This role is ideal for teammates who are flexible, eager to learn, and open to floating within the facility to support patient care wherever it’s needed most.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
  • Team‑oriented, flexible, and adaptable in a close-knit facility environment.
  • Willingness to expand responsibilities, learn new skills, and support multiple areas when needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stretching, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must be able to lift and support 35 lbs. when assisting with patients, equipment, and supplies.
  • Manual and finger dexterity required to operate clinical equipment.
  • Physical abilities testing required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Support patients with activities of daily living, hygiene, mobility, and nourishment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow all safety protocols.

  • Assist with patient ambulation, positioning, and safe handling using proper body mechanics.
  • Provide clerical assistance such as answering phones, chart documentation, and maintaining medical records.
  • Maintain adequate stock and supplies; help ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Perform duties within the Nurse Aide I or II scope per state guidelines.
  • With training, complete technical tasks including 12‑lead ECG acquisition and routine venipuncture.
  • Maintain professional and clinical competencies aligned with the Progressive Care population.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork in a small, highly collaborative environment.
  • Be willing to “wear many hats,” assist beyond typical tasks, and support the unit as needs shift throughout the day.
  • Float within the facility as needed to support patient care across departments.
