About The Position
We’re seeking a dedicated and professional Healthcare Security Officer to join our team in New Rochelle, NY. In this critical role, you'll help protect patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring a calm, safe, and secure healthcare environment. Position Details: Schedule: Sunday & Monday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM Pay: $18.75 per hour Location: New Rochelle, NY Post Type: Healthcare Facility – overnight shifts, patient/visitor interaction, facility patrols ⚠️ This is not an entry-level position. At least 1 year of security experience is required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience (required)
- Valid New York State Security Guard License (required)
- Must comply with current COVID-19 vaccination mandates
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure or emergency situations
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to New Rochelle, NY
- Comfortable working overnight and weekend shifts
Responsibilities
- Patrol hospital grounds and monitor entry points
- Ensure the safety of staff, patients, and visitors throughout the facility
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency calls calmly and professionally
- Enforce site policies and assist with visitor management
- Write detailed reports and maintain accurate incident records
- Support medical staff as needed during crisis or security-related situations
