About The Position

FleishmanHillard is seeking a full-time summer intern to work on a range of healthcare clients out of our Washington, D.C. office. We offer college juniors, seniors, recent college graduates, and graduate school students the opportunity to learn from leading public relations experts through a comprehensive internship program. Requirements

• At least a 3.0 GPA (if still in school)
• Previous relevant internship experience(s)
• Completed at least their junior year of college
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to cultivating diverse teams and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
• Strong interest in healthcare public relations

Responsibilities

• Conducting research and analysis
• Developing written materials (social content, news releases, messaging, etc.)
• Building relationships with journalists
• Identifying influencers and stakeholders
• Vetting external engagement opportunities
• Supporting crisis planning
• Tracking and analyzing results
• Other account-related activities

Benefits

• Paid internships are full-time, 40 hours per week
• Compensation on the same schedule as all other FleishmanHillard employees
• Overtime pay when applicable
