About The Position

A healthcare organization in the Bronx, NY is seeking a Healthcare HR Coordinator / Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day human resources and administrative functions. This role is ideal for candidates with prior HR or administrative experience in a healthcare or medical setting who are highly organized and proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (required)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department
  • Utilize Excel and Access to manage and maintain HR-related data
  • Create complex presentations using PowerPoint , including charts and graphs derived from database information
  • Assist with training class scheduling and coordination
  • Ensure proper classroom and training room setup
  • Develop and distribute surveys as needed
  • Perform general administrative duties including: Answering phones Ordering office supplies Coordinating travel arrangements
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information
