The Financial Counselor serves as a liaison between the Revenue Cycle team, Clinical staff, and patients to resolve financial questions and support account billing and collections. This role helps secure financial resources, verifies insurance, manages authorizations, and assists with claims and denials to optimize reimbursement for MNU. The position will serves as the primary point of contact for patients and families regarding financial matters, including cost of treatment, insurance eligibility and benefits, expected out-of-pocket responsibilities, and available community or financial assistance resources.
