We’re expanding our healthcare cleaning division and looking for dependable, detail-oriented technicians who take pride in their work and understand the importance of infection control and professional integrity. The Healthcare Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and infection-control standards within medical or clinical environments served by ClearView. This position supports a safe and hygienic environment by performing specialized cleaning and disinfection tasks according to site-specific protocols and ClearView quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must pass both ClearView’s standard background check and a fingerprint-based healthcare background check.
  • Must complete required pre-employment health screenings, including a TB test and vaccination verification or approved exemption (flu/COVID-19).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Must meet physical and insurance requirements for employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous janitorial or healthcare cleaning experience preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect exam rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas according to infection-control policies.
  • Use hospital-grade cleaning products safely and effectively, observing required dwell times.
  • Handle waste removal and properly restock paper products and soap.
  • Maintain janitorial closets and ensure supplies are stocked and organized.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors, walls, vents, glass, and other high-touch surfaces.
  • Follow PPE requirements, isolation-room cleaning protocols, and safety standards.
  • Secure buildings by locking doors, turning off lights, and setting alarms as assigned.
  • Accurately complete daily cleaning logs or checklists.
  • Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns promptly to your supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working in occupied patient-care settings.
