About The Position
As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being. To be successful in this role, you will possess a dedicated spirit of service, strong communication skills, a meticulous approach to patient support, and an unwavering commitment to our mission of dignified, high-quality healthcare. Demonstrates the ability to safely and competently perform tasks and procedures according to Medical Center policy and procedure. Including, but not limited to: Performs patient care tasks as directed by Radiologist, Supervisor, or Manager.
Requirements
- Experience with transferring patients from rooms to different areas within the department.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Responsibilities
- Performs patient care tasks as directed by Radiologist, Supervisor, or Manager.
- Demonstrates the skills and knowledge to support the accurate data collection and documentation of pertinent information in a timely manner: Consent forms, doctor's orders, laboratory tests, patient's current drug formulary.
- Participates as a team member, communicating respect for patient, family, clients and other members of the Care Team.
- Contributes to the management of the department by assuming responsibility of specific support functions i.e., preparing exam room, assisting with patient exam, record keeping/clerical functions for PVL.
- Ensures that inpatient and outpatient exams are scheduled in a manner that enables the department to run smoothly and efficiently.
