About The Position

The Health & Wellness Operations Manager is central to the coordination and integration of various interdepartmental functions including staffing, training, compliance, technology and systems, data analytics, and special projects, supporting all clinical departments: health care center (HCC), assisted living (AL), and the clinic.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant license highly preferred.
  • Must have at least 1-2 years' prior experience with leading staffing, payroll administration, accounting, and general operations experience. Having this experience in a health care setting would be a differentiator.
  • Must have First Aid/CPR instructor license.
  • Must possess ability to deal tactfully and effectively with team members using strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be organized, flexible, detail oriented and work well under pressure.
  • Must have strong computer skills, working knowledge of computerized payroll and accounting systems, as well as proficiency with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staffing across all health and wellness departments (HCC, AL, clinic) to mitigate overtime needs. Keep leadership informed of staffing and overtime trends, making recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Centralize payroll coordination across health and wellness including timecard review and approval, time off requests. Escalate special requests and issues to leadership or human resources as appropriate.
  • Coordinate annual evaluations for all team members. Leads the timely submission of payroll and HR process forms, e.g., Personnel Action Request Forms (PARFs), status change memos, etc.
  • Collaborate on training across health and wellness, supervising Advance Certified Nursing Assistants (ACNAs) to schedule and deliver First Aid/CPR training and lead the coordination of annual skills fair. Assists with departmental education needs in learning management system (Relias). Ensure all training and certification records to HR for record-keeping compliance.
  • Initial point of contact for resolving work-related scheduling problems. Is the liaison between the team members and Administrator, referring the team members to the Administrator or human resources as needed.
  • Monitor PTO and sick leave balances. Maintain a sick leave/PTO log to insure that leave slips are prepared and submitted on a timely basis. Reports excessive tardiness and sick leave to Administrator.
