Health Unit Coordinator - Surgery Department
About The Position
Health Unit Coordinator for the Surgical / Operating Room units at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This is a full-time administrative position that will work 8-hour Day shifts (6:30am - 3pm); no weekends or holidays. Responsible for procedural scheduling, patient registration and patient flow requirements. Coordinates time, resources, patient, physician, staff, and facility needs. Inputs charges and completes reconciliation of charges in a timely manner. Participates in the daily activities of the department as an active team member. Requirements
- On the job training or sufficient experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an administrative/office type role in a hospital
- Computer training, medical terminology
- Coursework/Training and Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training
