Monadnock Community Hospital (MCH) in Peterborough, New Hampshire, is seeking an Emergency Department Unit Coordinator. Requirements

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in office software and electronic health record systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Valid New Hampshire state licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing compassionate and helpful assistance with scheduling, inquiries, and information dissemination.
Manage office operations, including appointment scheduling, patient records, and office supplies. Maintain accurate and organized documentation.
Facilitate communication between patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring clear and timely information flow.
Assist patients with billing inquiries, insurance claims, and payment processing, ensuring transparency and patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with medical staff to support quality improvement initiatives and ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care.
Act as a patient advocate, addressing patient concerns and needs with empathy and professionalism.
