In this role, you won't just teach - you'll inspire, guide, and mentor the health care leaders of tomorrow! The Health Services Management undergraduate program in the College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS) at the University of Minnesota continually accepts resumés for teaching positions that may open up during the academic year or summer session. Applications are reviewed as openings occur, and individuals are invited to interview when their skills or areas of expertise match a specific offering. These temporary, non-tenured Teaching Specialist positions are paid on a per-class basis. Our Health Services Management (HSM) program boasts one of the most diverse student populations on the Twin Cities campus. Our adjunct teaching specialists are industry leaders who teach from experience, draw from real-life case studies, and partner with our teaching experts using state-of-the-art, multimodal teaching methods and technology. Teaching specialists deliver well-structured lectures and interactive sessions that engage students in multicultural, diverse, and inclusive educational experiences that prepare them for success in the field of health services management. Our courses are offered in a blended format: in-person, online, and hybrid. The U of M Health Services Management Bachelor of Applied Science degree is the only program in the Twin Cities to be certified by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA).
