Our Operations Leadership Team brings together colleagues from Production, Continuous Improvement, Health & Safety, and Quality Control to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. Due to an expansion in production capability at our West Allis, WI site, we are strengthening our Health & Safety function to continue building a safe, compliant, and proactive working environment where everyone can thrive. The Role & Your Impact As a Health & Safety Specialist, you will play a key operational role in implementing health and safety programs and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements. With a strong focus on execution, you will work closely with site leadership and frontline teams to prevent incidents, investigate root causes, and promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing setting.
  • Working knowledge of applicable standards and frameworks, including OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and related regulations.
  • Strong time management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications such as CSP, ARM, ALCH, or CIH.
  • Experience supporting industrial hygiene programs or ergonomics initiatives.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement in safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing health and safety programs to support a safe manufacturing environment.
  • Conducting safety training in line with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Leading incident investigations and supporting corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conducting and maintaining job hazard analyses.
  • Assisting with industrial hygiene surveys and employee programs such as fire prevention, emergency response, evacuation planning, and ergonomics.
