About The Position

As the Health & Safety Solution Specialist, you will serve as the primary technical resource for TSI’s Health & Safety sales organization. Leveraging your expertise in health and safety instrumentation, software, and industrial hygiene applications, you will play a key role in supporting complex sales opportunities. You will collaborate closely with outside sales representatives, engineering teams, and customers to deliver integrated hardware, software, and service solutions that drive both deal closure and long-term customer success. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will ensure that TSI’s Health & Safety offerings meet customer requirements, comply with relevant standards, and differentiate TSI in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Engineering, Occupational or Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or Computer Science).
  • 3–5 years of industry experience in Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related technical sales or applications support role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Strong understanding of safety and industrial hygiene instrumentation and data analysis principles.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Occupational/Environmental Health, or Business.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, IoT-connected instrumentation, or environmental monitoring solutions.
  • Knowledge of sales engineering methodologies and solution-selling frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Sales Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Health & Safety products, providing technical support to sales activities across inside and outside sales channels, channel partners, and customers.
  • Engage with industrial hygienists, EHS managers, and safety professionals to understand challenges and define tailored solutions in environmental monitoring, occupational exposure, and safety compliance.
  • Assist with technical demonstrations and presentations to highlight the value, functionality, and integration of TSI’s hardware, software, and service offerings.
  • Stay current on industry standards, regulations, and guidelines, including OSHA, MSHA, ISO, ANSI, ACGIH, and NIOSH, to ensure customer solutions meet or exceed compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Marketing to train sales teams and partners on product capabilities, applications, and competitive advantages.
  • Support trade shows, customer events, and virtual engagements as the technical representative of TSI’s Health & Safety portfolio.
