The Health & Safety Program Manager is responsible for managing system safety programs and chemical compliance processes to ensure a safe and compliant operational environment. This role drives significant impact by developing standards, automating approvals, and maintaining critical safety programs. This position reports to the Director of EHS, is part of a multi-site and operating company Environment, Health & Safety Team and will be an on-site role at one of the IDT or Aldevron locations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Ensures Occupational Health & Safety performance through the development, implementation, management and collaboration of health and safety programs across US and international sites. Drives critical occupational health & safety programs such as Injury/Illness Reporting & Investigation, Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Control of Hazardous Energy, Chemical Handling & Storage, Biological Safety, Fire Prevention, Ergonomics, etc. to reduce risks and company costs. Exhibits a working knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulations. Identifies, prioritizes, mitigates, and communicates health & safety compliance risks to the organization. Assess and improve safety performance sites assessments and driving continuous improvement by establishing performance targets, data analysis and reporting.
