The Health and Safety Manager functions as a key role in the EHS department keeping apprised of safety regulations and compliance requirements. They partner with the operations team to educate, provide resources and instruction to improve the health and safety of all employees. Summary Under general supervision, the Health and Safety Manager functions within the EHS group to implement the company’s EHS programs to maintain regulatory compliance and improve the health and safety culture of the facility. As part of this function, they manage the industrial hygiene sampling program and monitor employee exposures both internally and at customer locations. The H&S Manager acts as a thinkSAFE ambassador to improve safety awareness throughout the site and continually improve safe work practices by maintaining the H&S management system as well as engaging in safety conversations and coaching/training employees on best practices.
