About The Position

Clarke Energy is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager – US to lead our safety and environmental programs across a growing portfolio of power generation and infrastructure projects. This high-impact role will establish and oversee company-wide HSE standards to protect employees, subcontractors, and clients, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of HSE experience in construction, power generation, EPC, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific safety standards.
  • Proven ability to design and manage corporate safety programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% to active project sites.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Professional certifications (CSP, CHST, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a corporate HSE program, including policies, procedures, and training.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and regular site visits to ensure compliance and safe operations.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and all state/local safety regulations.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventative measures.
  • Support project teams with risk assessments, JSAs, and safety documentation.
  • Track and report HSE performance metrics (TRIR, LTIR, near misses, etc.) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent Clarke Energy in client safety audits and prequalification processes.
  • Promote and embed a culture of safety throughout US operations.
