About The Position

Clarke Energy is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager – US to lead our safety and environmental programs across a growing portfolio of power generation and infrastructure projects. This high-impact role will establish and oversee company-wide HSE standards to protect employees, subcontractors, and clients, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of HSE experience in construction, power generation, EPC, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific safety standards.
Proven ability to design and manage corporate safety programs.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to travel up to 60% to active project sites.

Professional certifications (CSP, CHST, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a corporate HSE program, including policies, procedures, and training.
Conduct audits, inspections, and regular site visits to ensure compliance and safe operations.
Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and all state/local safety regulations.
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventative measures.
Support project teams with risk assessments, JSAs, and safety documentation.
Track and report HSE performance metrics (TRIR, LTIR, near misses, etc.) to drive continuous improvement.
Represent Clarke Energy in client safety audits and prequalification processes.
Promote and embed a culture of safety throughout US operations.
