About The Position

This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in health and safety. The organization delivers a wide range of exciting events globally for large, blue-chip organizations. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will work with all members of the Global Safety Team to assist with the management and coordination of safety throughout XD. This role is well suited to somebody at the beginning of a Health and Safety career, with opportunities for additional growth, company sponsored training, and career progression. You will improve and grow the safety culture in our US businesses and support the wider XD safety strategies, while providing support to our project teams. This support will assist with the wider goals of supporting the business to maintain compliance with all relevant procedures and legislative requirements. This compliance applies to both our day-to-day operations and the hundreds of events delivered every year. You need a passion for clear communication, the ability to stay organised, and confidence using IT systems relevant to the role. This role includes domestic and international travel. Requirements

Desire to learn and develop in the role and organization through professional qualifications and training
Knowledge of OSHA Regulations and procedures
Ability to work collaboratively within multi-discipline teams
A valid passport to allow international travel
A desire to drive the health and safety culture with a solutions-driven attitude to health and safety

Nice To Haves

Preferable experience working in the live events, exhibitions or entertainment sector

Responsibilities

Assist the Safety Team with the maintenance, review and ongoing improvement of all safety documents and processes
Maintain the training records, booking and scheduling relevant courses, and assisting with the creation of training materials
Engage with your professional development to build competencies, through formal qualifications and on the job training, to progress within the role and organisation
Help with the creation of regular reports and business updates
Assist in the development and update of internal guidance and information for employees and suppliers to better inform each of the Health & Safety expectations of the business
Coordinate and communicate health and safety activities throughout the business
Support the Safety Team with administrative tasks in relation to ongoing projects, including creating safety plans and risk assessments for project activities
Support the development and dissemination of internal communications
Creation and communication of audit reports including the maintenance of action plans for any required
Support with on-site safety duties alongside the wider Safety Team
Partner with project teams to assess project risk and provide advice
National travel, assisting with management of safety across project delivery
Assist the Office Team with maintaining regulatory health and safety compliance across XD facilities
