What you will be doing: With this exciting opportunity you will be focusing on HSE management systems, data analysis, supporting the leadership and HSE teams of the Indianapolis multi-business facilities.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and 4 plus years of experience in Health, Safety and /or Environmental OR;
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 plus years of experience in Health, Safety and /or Environmental OR;
  • Master’s degree OR;
  • JD/PhD OR;
  • 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • In order to be considered for this role, you must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Nice To Haves

  • A recognized HS&E management qualification is desirable (CSP, CHMM or similar).
  • Experience in Power BI, website development, data management, data analysis etc.
  • Work experience in HS&E management, specifically a third party certified ISO 14001 and/or 45001 management system.
  • Work experience should include an HS&E compliance role related to management systems, interpretation of legislation, training delivery and auditing.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing business environment, specific risks and industry approaches are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain local H&S policies and data against objectives and targets that are consistent with the organizations HS&E strategy based on the needs of the various stakeholders.
  • Support the use of system that drive compliance with HS&E legislation, regulatory permitting and appropriate company standards.
  • Track and report on the processes of checking and corrective action measures to regularly review the effectiveness of all aspects of the sites' HS&E management system including performance monitoring, incident investigation and auditing.
  • Support processes that deliver effective risk assessments on the organization’s operational site covering contractor management, control of work (permit to work), hazard identification, PPE, Lockout/Tag out etc.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication tools (websites, shared drives, score cards, etc.) on relevant HS&E matters to drive improvements in management and employee commitment, understanding and engagement with HS&E issues.
