About The Position
The Clinical Population Health Care Management Branch at the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is seeking a dynamic Health Program Specialist who is passionate about implementing new policy and driving meaningful change in a start-up like environment. This position plays a key role in overseeing population health program requirements for Medi-Cal managed care plans, with a focus on launching novel functionality within Medi-Cal Connect (a statewide population health management technological platform), other population health policy, and care management programs. Ideal candidates will possess excellent analytical skills, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and be eager to help DHCS grow and enhance the quality of its population health programs.
