Apple Valley Village Health Care Center, a Cassia senior community, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Health Plan Nurse ! As a Health Plan Nurse at Apple Valley Village Health Care Center , you will serve as a liaison to residents’ insurance benefits while supporting the Case Manager with Medicare scheduling, monthly billing, charting, and notices of non-coverage. You’ll collaborate with Admissions, the Case Manager, and the Supply Coordinator, lead Medicare team meetings, ensure physician certifications are obtained, and perform additional duties as needed to support quality care and compliance. Requirements

• RN license in the state of Minnesota required.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience preferably in TCU.
• Capable of multitasking and staying organized.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Utilization Management preferred.
• MDS experience preferred.
• Experience with Medicare and patient’s insurance preferred.
• Proficient in computer software.

Responsibilities

• Liaison to the patient’s insurance benefits
• Assist Case Manager with Medicare scheduling, monthly billing, charting, and issuing notices of non-coverage.
• Work in collaboration with Admissions staff, Case Manager, and Supply Coordinator.
• Leading the Medicare team meetings
• Physician’s certifications are obtained
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
