Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals seeking limitless possibilities. A day in the life. As our Health Management Intern on the Employer Services team, you'll work closely with our local team to help create content for seminars/webinars, communication campaigns and other programs to support our clients on a variety of health and well-being topics. They'll also get the opportunity to explore what it is like to be a Health Management consultant participating in a variety of meetings and trainings. MMA's internship is a comprehensive program that will provide you with real world business, risk management and insurance experience. Learn to apply the concepts you've learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction. You'll also develop professional skills that will serve you the rest of your career. Marsh McLennan Agency's internship program gives you the chance to find your interest and place in the insurance industry. MMA's goal is to provide insight into all areas of the insurance industry and act as a springboard into full-time careers in the role you desire. Our internship will focus on the tools needed to build a solid foundation for our Client Management or Sales career pathways.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in health and wellness, dietetics/nutrition management, kinesiology, health promotion, exercise physiology, corporate wellness/fitness, or public health.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Create content for seminars/webinars and communication campaigns.
  • Support clients on various health and well-being topics.
  • Participate in meetings and trainings as a Health Management consultant.
  • Apply classroom concepts through project work and client interaction.
  • Develop professional skills for future career opportunities.
