About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented HIM Agent to support clinical operations through accurate data entry, call routing, and general administrative support.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of phone operator experience , preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Responsibilities
- Enter patient information and documentation into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Answer and route incoming calls to the appropriate departments
- Take and process messages, including physician consult requests
- Provide general clinic information to patients and callers
- Verify patient status and update records in the system
