Researches, develops, designs and/or writes health education materials. Develops, conducts and advises related support groups. Develops and implements health education courses; conducts outreach programs. Coordinates publicity for programs, events, and related activities. May facilitate projects or activities related to attaining or maintaining accreditation. Develops and maintains information concerning services pertaining to health education and health concerns. May conduct or participate in research projects related to health issues. Provides skill training related to health issues. Performs related responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Education or a related field and two years of experience in an area related to health education, OR a combination of education, training and experience.
  • Candidate must be comfortable adapting exercise curriculum to older adults of various physical and cognitive levels.
  • Candidate must be comfortable leading group exercise classes.
  • This role requires residency in the state of GA.
