About The Position

Under general supervision, the Health Educator Associate assists professional staff by developing, conducting and delivering health education interventions. The Health Educator Associate is an entry-level health education position and works to promote, maintain, and improve individual and community health by assisting individuals and communities to adopt healthy behaviors. In addition to the above this position will serve as a patient liaison, interpreter and navigator to assist with navigating the health care system and improve communication and relationships between patients and providers, linking patients with resources. Applicants must be fluent in both Spanish and English. A language proficiency assessment may be required as part of the hiring process. Requirements

  • Applicants must be fluent in both Spanish and English. A language proficiency assessment may be required as part of the hiring process.
  • Associated degree in Health Education, Community Health, Public Health, Health Science, Wellness, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, Community Health, Wellness or related field.
  • At least one year of experience working in community health.
