Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health education or health-related field with two years of health education experience preferred.
• Tobacco treatment certification, Safe Sitter and Health Coach Certification required during first year of employment.
• Current North Carolina driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Uses an appropriate problem-solving approach to develop health education and client support activities.
• Provides health education and client support activities with consideration for the recipient's needs.
• Uses equipment / supplies correctly.
• Follows safety and infection control policies.
• Teaches / directs / advises / informs others in an appropriate manner.
• Reports / records information appropriately.
