About The Position

Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 327-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as at 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.  FLSA StatusExemptLead with purpose and make a difference in your community.Eskenazi Health is seeking a Health Center Coordinator to join our team at Eskenazi Health Center Westside. In this role, you’ll provide leadership and operational support to ensure exceptional patient care and a positive experience for both patients and staff. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or Healthcare (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in healthcare, leadership, or business management.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD/CPT coding preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Ambulatory healthcare experience preferred.
  • RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support health center staff, providing guidance, coaching, and clear communication.
  • Partner with Health Center Managers, Physicians, Operations, and HR to hire, train, evaluate, and develop team members.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards while fostering a culture of safety and quality.
  • Monitor and improve operational performance, including scheduling, patient flow, and resource utilization.
  • Analyze data and implement strategies to reduce no-show rates, increase capacity, and enhance patient experience.
  • Maintain a positive work environment that promotes engagement and professional growth.
