About The Position

Provide strategic direction of Health & Baby and align efforts across key strategic and financial initiatives. Act as a liaison and advocate between the team and senior leadership, championing priorities and outcomes. Develop and communicate long-term plans for the categories, including risk mitigation, resource allocation, and vendor management opportunities. Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in merchandising, category management, or retail strategy
  • Experience in roles such as eCommerce Marketing Manager, eCommerce Brand Manager, Sr eCommerce Digital Communication Planner, Influencer and Affiliate Marketing Manager, eCommerce Strategic Planner, or manager of measurement/analytics
  • Strong adaptability to shifting customer trends
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and meet financial goals
  • Ability to translate strategy into scalable action
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high performing teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to grow Health & Baby in alignment with overall merchandising goals
  • Assess emerging opportunities to uncover long-term trends and growth opportunities
  • Develop new approaches and move beyond incremental improvement to transformational impact
  • Partner with suppliers to drive innovation within Health & Baby, develop a deep understanding of market/competitive/consumer dynamics to define our strategy and drive action against them
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, eCommerce, Division Leadership, Marketing, Operations, and Legal Compliance to ensure alignment and flawless execution
  • Enhance the customer journey by creating engaging and inspirational in-store and online experiences
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize product placement, promotions, and pricing strategies to maximize sales for impulse selling items
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success
  • Lead category management for Health & Baby, including assortment planning, pricing, promotions, space allocation, and innovation pipeline
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties
  • Complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
