The Headphones and Accessories Quality Engineering team is looking for a motivated Tools u0026 Automation Engineer to design, implement, test and maintain next generation audio and connectivity solutions for the AirPods product line. You're responsible for creating and delivering world changing experiences on the very latest Apple products.In this role, you will develop creative and efficient test solutions for both current and next-generation products. You will take ownership of product quality by identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and partnering closely with development teams to drive timely resolutions. You will design comprehensive test plans for new features that balance technical accuracy with an exceptional customer experience. The role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts in Python, along with tracking results and communicating findings through clear, organized reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for bringing up and maintaining test setups, as well as troubleshooting and improving test frameworks and scripts on a regular basis.You have foundational understanding of electronics and audio technologies, with a discerning ear for identifying sound anomalies and evaluating audio quality. You have strong analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from large data sets and perform clear, quantitative assessments. You have the ability to communicate complex concepts and key risks effectively to non-technical audiences. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships, collaborate across teams, and influence project outcomes. You're curious, passionate, and have an innovative mindset, with enthusiasm for exploring new approaches to everyday challenges.
