About The Position

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Athletics, the incumbent will be responsible for the administration of an NCAA Division I Women's Soccer program to: (a) ensure the health, well-being and academic success of the student-athletes; (b) develop and sustain a Soccer program that is highly competitive within the Pac-12 conference with a goal of advancement to NCAA post-season competition; (c) negotiate and secure a strong non-conference schedule that includes an element of competition versus other competitive Division I programs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an institution of higher education that is accredited by one of the six US regional accrediting associations or by an equivalent international institution of higher education.
A minimum of three years of experience in coaching women's soccer at the collegiate level, preferably at the Division I level.

Responsibilities

Plan and direct the training and performance of team members.
Recruit and retain high-quality student-athletes.
Ensure that the program complies strictly with all NCAA, conference, University, and Athletics Department rules, policies, and procedures.
Supervise and evaluate assistant coaches in the performance of their duties.
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the women's soccer student-athletes.
Properly administer the sports budget.
Monitor student-athlete academic progress.
