About The Position

Harper College is seeking a Head Women's Basketball Coach (NJCAA DII Athletics) to oversee the day-to-day operations with the goal of advancing successful student-athletes, while competing at the highest level within NJCAA Region 4 (DII) and for NJCAA DII National Championships. The head coach will be responsible for directing all aspects of the Women's basketball program including eligibility and compliance adherence, strategic in-district and regional recruiting, academic success, player development, budget management, logistics of travel, and preparation for practices and games. The head coach should promote a holistic approach toward creating a culture of inclusivity and belonging for all student-athletes.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a women's college or girl's high school head coach
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within a budge
• Capacity to plan and execute fundraising strategies
• Propensity to run skill camps and clinics
• Demonstrate a commitment to and experience working with diverse populations
• Experience planning and implementing preseason, postseason, and offseason programs to ensure the skill development of the student athletes
• Valid driver's license

• NJCAA and NCAA coaching experience
