About The Position

Harper College is seeking a Head Women’s Volleyball Coach (NJCAA DII Athletics) to oversee the day-to-day operations with the ultimate goal of advancing successful student-athletes, while competing at the highest level within NJCAA Region 4 and for NJCAA National Championships. The head coach will be responsible for directing all aspects of the volleyball program including compliance adherence, academic success, player development, budget management, recruiting, logistics of travel, and preparation for practices and games. The head coach should promote a holistic approach toward creating a culture of inclusivity and belonging for all student-athletes.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a women’s college or girls’ high school head coach
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within a budget
  • Capacity to plan and execute fundraising strategies
  • Propensity to run skill camps and clinics
  • Demonstrate a commitment to and experience working with diverse populations
  • Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Mid-Suburban League (MSL) experience preferred
  • NJCAA and NCAA coaching experience preferred
  • Candidates with a resume and cover letter will receive first consideration
