About The Position

ShotVet is seeking a Head Vet Technician to join their team. This role primarily involves working weekdays Monday-Friday, with Sundays required, and includes travel to nearby states to support mobile wellness clinics. The position focuses on delivering high-quality preventive care, leading staff training initiatives, ensuring exceptional client service, providing on-site leadership at mobile clinic events, and maintaining compliance with veterinary best practices, safety protocols, and workflow standards.

• Willingness to travel within the region as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality preventive care, including vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and client education
• Lead staff training initiatives, including onboarding, skills development, and clinic orientation
• Ensure exceptional client service through clear communication and education on pet health
• Provide on-site leadership at mobile clinic events, supporting team efficiency and clinical excellence
• Maintain compliance with veterinary best practices, safety protocols, and workflow standards
